Making Goals

A few days ago I was given my quarterly evaluation at work and the only part that I got caught up on (like every other evaluation) is telling my manager about my goals. I know I have goals, but I'm just not always able to put them into words. I know my coworkers feel the same way, which is what inspired this post.
It is so important to have goals. They are what carve the path for your future. For instance, I have a goal to have a great career, so my path is college. We all have goals, even if we don't know it consciously. Let's face it: you know what you want-- that is a goal. I think that physically or verbally setting goals is essential to making them happen. If you write it down on paper or tell someone, you are probably more likely to achieve those goals.
Today I thought that I would physically put my goals out for the world to see. This is so I can always refer back to them and I also have made them public so I have people to hold me accountable for making these things happen.

I am planning on posting updates on my goals as I complete them.
Let me know if you have made a set of goals. I would love to hear about what y'all are striving for and we could also be accountability buddies!

P.S. I'm trying out some new graphics in this and my last post. What do y'all think about them? Should I keep making them, or stick with plain blog posts? Let me know what you think by commenting, tweeting, or shooting me an email! Your input really would mean a lot to me :)
